Designated for homeowners or condominium associations. The majority of fire fatalities occur in the home. Let Indian River County Fire Department educate you and your family about home fire hazards, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and escape planning.
Fire Safety House
Indian River County Fire Department's Safety House trailer visits elementary schools throughout Indian River County and makes special appearances as well. Children are taught how to escape a fire in their home including, crawling low in smoke, going to a safe meeting place and calling 9-1-1.
